Report: Tottenham Hotspur close to £35m agreement with Barcelona for Gomes, plotting Bale loan

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on a move for Everton loanee.

Tottenham Hotspur are closing in on a triple swoop, The Sun report.

It is claimed Spurs are nearing a £35 million agreement with Barcelona to sign Andre Gomes.

Gomes has spent the season on loan at Everton and has given his career a big lift, having fallen out of favour at Barcelona.

 

Everton are keen on signing him permanently, but Tottenham's reported progress in negotiations puts their hopes at risk.

The same report claims Tottenham are also close to an agreement with Fulham to land Ryan Sessegnon.

Spurs are hoping to do a deal for £25 million plus add ons.

The biggest move is their potential move to re-sign Gareth Bale.

Tottenham's board have reportedly ruled out a permanent switch, but are interested in signing Bale on loan.

Real Madrid are looking to sell him but have no takers, given his age, injury history and high wages.

The Sun report Tottenham have set aside £10 million to budget towards his wages and are keen to do a deal.
