Leeds reportedly remain interested in Dan James.

Leeds United’s pursuit of Swansea’s Dan James is not over.

It appeared last week that the Whites were close to missing out, after Sky Sports claimed he was on the brink of a move to Manchester United.

The Mirror claim this is far from the case.

The report claims the Red Devils have not submitted any offers, and the links stemmed from Swansea attempting to spark a bidding war for the Wales international.

It is claimed Leeds United remain strongly interested in James, with Swansea aiming to start negotiations at £15 million.

This is a high price, and as The Mirror states, Leeds hopes are totally dependent on winning Premier League promotion.

The Whites are closing in on the play-off final, winning the first leg of their semi-final against Derby.

Gaining promotion will give Leeds a legitimate chance of signing James, providing his future is not determined prior to then.
