Italian star Domenico Berardi has admitted he is keen on a move to Liverpool.

In an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport (12/5) reported by Goal and TMW, Berardi admits Liverpool are his dream club.

The 24-year-old said: “If an offer arrives, be it from Milan or another club, I will evaluate it with my club.

“Being able to choose, I would play in Liverpool.

“Changing remains difficult for me, but it no longer frightens me, I would do it.”

The standard at Liverpool is so high that an Italian international like Berardi could not expect to be first team starter.

He would only be a back up for the Reds, offering an attacking option from the bench, with an ability to play up front and out wide.

Berardi is valued at 50 million euros by Sassuolo (£43.3 million), the reports state.

Liverpool are not necessarily in the hunt to sign Berardi, but his comments do highlight the pull the club have.

There is a huge feelgood factor at the club at present, which was emphasised by Liverpool’s 4-0 victory over Barcelona last week.
