Celtic fans have offered a mix reaction to reports about Carlos Carvalhal.
According to The Scottish Sun, the Portuguese manager is interested in being Brendan Rodgers's long-term successor at Celtic.
The 53-year-old has managed eight different clubs since 2007 and almost led Sheffield Wednesday into the Premier League two years ago, losing the playoff final to Hull City.
The Hoops have been linked to much bigger names - including Jose Mourinho - and here's how some fans of the Parkhead club reacted to Carvalhal.

I want the Celtic managers job too, sadly I don’t think I’m in the running. Much like Carlos— Paul Wedlock (@PaulWedlock) May 14, 2019
I would take him right away— happy lad (@rob_happyrob007) May 13, 2019
Take him. Massive change needed. Club and team are jaded and stagnant— Chris (@Chris66673309) May 14, 2019
So Carlos Carvalhal is supposedly interested in the Celtic job, last thing we need is a manager that has had 17 managerial positions since 1998 and has only 1 trophy to his name— Kieran McAlinden (@KieranMcA1997) May 14, 2019
Doesn’t seem like a Desmond appointment— Stephen Wray (@TheBhoyWray) May 13, 2019
Carvalhal, who has won one trophy in a 20-year managerial career, has been out of work since leaving Swansea City on May 18 of last year.
In terms of CV, he is dwarfed by other coaches linked to the Celtic role, not least Mourinho who, according to Di Marzio, has been offered the job.
Neil Lennon did his chances of staying no good by losing 2-0 at Rangers on Sunday. Unless he wins the Scottish Cup and completes the historic Treble Treble, he has no chance of being named as Rodgers's permanent replacement.
