Oxford United fans have responded to Marcus Browne’s post on Twitter and have urged the West Ham United attacking midfielder to return to their club.

Browne spent the 2017-18 campaign on loan at Oxford in League One from Premier League outfit West Ham.

According to WhoScored, the attacking midfielder made 25 starts and nine substitute appearances in League One for the The U’s this season, scoring six goals in the process.


The 21-year-old has returned to West Ham and has already started training with the first team.

The youngster has sent a message on Twitter regarding his season, and Oxford fans have responded to it and have urged him to return to Grenoble Road.

Future at West Ham United?

Browne is a very talented and promising young player who did well during his time at Oxford.

It is a huge step-up from League One to the Premier League, and the 21-year-old has to work very hard in pre-season in order to impress manager Manuel Pellegrini and earn a place for himself in the squad for the 2019-20 campaign.
