Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers won against Neil Lennon’s Celtic at Ibrox on Sunday.
James Tavernier of Rangers
Rangers got the better of Celtic 2-0 at home in the Old Firm derby on Sunday afternoon.
Tavernier and Scott Arfield were the goalscorers for the Gers in the Scottish Premiership match.
After the match, former Newcastle United right-back Tavernier revelled in the win on Twitter by stating that “Glasgow is Blue”.
Former Celtic striker Sutton has mocked the 27-year-old by pointing out that the Hoops have won the Scottish Premiership title, not Rangers.

Challenging next season
Celtic have been the best team in the Scottish Premiership this season, but the win on Sunday afternoon does give Rangers hope in their quest to challenge the Hoops for the league title during the 2019-20 campaign.
The Bhoys have won the Scottish Premiership title and the Scottish League Cup, and they have also progressed to the final of the Scottish Cup.
