Brentford fans' response to Moses Odubajo's release bodes well for Sheffield Wednesday.

According to The Star, Wednesday are interested in singing the versatile 25-year-old, who played under Owls boss Steve Bruce at Hull City.

Odubajo spent a season back at Brentford, where he played prior to his £3.5 million move to Hull.

 

But despite playing 30 times for the Bees after two years sidelined through injury, the former England Under-20 International failed to have his 12-month extension option triggered.

And those of a Sheffield Wednesday persuasion should be encouraged by the following reactions, should Odubajo end up at Hillsborough.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sheffield Wednesday have already seen one of their full-backs, Achraf Lazaar, leave at the end of his loan spell, while another could follow if Liam Palmer fails to renew his contract.

Odubajo, who began life as a winger at Leyton Orient, can play on either side despite being predominantly right-footed.

The 25-year-old has played 117 times at Championship level, scoring or making 11 goals, and was promoted from the division with Bruce at Hull.
