West Ham United and Leicester City reportedly want Stephan El Shaarawy of AS Roma.

West Ham United and Leicester City may have their eyes on Stephan El Shaarawy, but it seems that the Italy international could stay at AS Roma after all.

According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, West Ham and Leicester in the Premier League in England are interested in signing El Shaarawy from Roma in the summer transfer window.

The 26-year-old winger is out of contract at the Italian club in the summer of 2020, according to the report.

The former AC Milan player is a superb and very creative player, and he would be a very good signing for West Ham or Leicester.

However, it seems that El Shaarawy will stay at Roma next season. According to Gianlucadimarzio.com, there will be a meeting between the winger’s brother and agent and the club next week to officially start negotiations over a new contract.

El Shaarawy has made 20 starts and five substitute appearances in Serie A for Roma so far this season, scoring 11 goals and providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
