Arsenal eased through to the Europa League final last night, beating Valencia 4-2 in the Mestalla.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette were in scintillating form for the Gunners, with the former scoring his first ever hat-trick for the north London club.

 

Arsenal will now face Chelsea in the final in Baku on May 29th, with the winner earning a place in the Champions League next season.

If the Gunners are to beat Chelsea, they will need their two superstar strikers to be on top form.

Between them this season, they have racked up a combined 48 goals and 21 assists in 97 appearances in all competitions.

Arsenal have endured a difficult Premier League campaign, but their performances in Europe have been quite simply brilliant.

Auba and Laca have forged a wonderful partnership this season, and Gary Lineker took to Twitter last night, praising the duo for their performances against Valencia:

Arsenal still have a Premier League game away to Burnley to navigate before they play Chelsea in the Europa League final, and Unai Emery will surely field a weakened team at Turf Moor, with little riding on the result.
