Wolverhampton Wanderers reportedly wanted to bring Jean-Clair Todibo to the Premier League before he joined La Liga champions Barcelona.

Wolverhampton Wanderers might have missed out on a deal to sign the Jean-Clair Todibo during the January transfer window but that does not mean he will never end up at Molineux.
According to La Depeche, Wolves were interested in signing the highly-rated defender from Toulouse but he was on his way to Catalunya instead after the turn of the year. Barcelona won the race to sign the 19-year-old, paying a minimal fee for a player who’s contract was due to expire at the end of the 2018/19 season.
And, although first-team football has not been easy to come by at a club boasting the defensive talents of Gerard Pique, Clement Lenglet and Samuel Umtiti, Todibo has earned rave reviews in his two La Liga appearances so far.
But, if AS are to be believed, the teenager is suddenly facing an uncertain future at the Camp Nou, just months after joining the Spanish champions.
The report claims that Barca have made Todibo available for loan as they look to ensure he plays regular first-team football to avoid stunting his development.

So a window of opportunity has suddenly appeared for Wolves.
With Nuno Espirito Santo’s side set to play European football next season as it stands, Nuno could do with some extra depth at the back and Todibo could thrive under a manager who is famous for his ability to improve young players.
