Rangers have been linked with bringing Mexer to Ibrox.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has told Rangers TV that he’s heard Rennes defender Mexer will be staying in France, rather than heading to Ibrox.
The Gers have already secured three pre-contract agreements, with Jordan Jones, Jake Hastie and Steven Davis all signing for free this summer.
However, defensive reinforcements are an absolute must, as Gareth McAuley will leave when his contract expires this summer and loanee Joe Worrall will return to Nottingham Forest.
That leaves Connor Goldson and Nikola Katic as Gerrard’s two recognised centre backs, meaning two centre backs should be signed this summer.
A top target is Rennes ace Mexer, as O Pais in the defender’s native Mozambique released a photo of the pair together in France in what was allegedly a meeting about a move to Glasgow.
The 30-year-old has been offered a three-year deal to join Rangers according to The Scottish Sun, and it was thought that he may be at Ibrox on Sunday to watch Rangers take on Celtic.
However, Gerrard has played down the speculation, suggesting that he was asked for the photo after watching Rennes take on Monaco in order to scout a few players.

Gerrard did though add that he admires Mexer, but has heard that he will be staying in France rather than joining Rangers, meaning the Gers look set to miss out barring a late U-turn.
“I think you’ve probably seen the picture in the public domain,” said Gerrard. “I went to watch Rennes v Monaco to analyse a lot of players on the pitch, bumped into numerous players after the game and was asked for a picture. I think people are putting a lot of speculation out there.”
“We are looking for centre-backs, and Mexer is a good player who we admire, but what I’m led to believe is that he’ll be playing his football in France next year. Don’t take that as facts, that’s just what I’m hearing through the grapevine,” he added.
