Everton boss Marco Silva is thought to have money to spend at Goodison Park this summer.

Everton fans are keen to see Hakim Ziyech signed from Ajax this summer after his performance in the Champions League last night.

Everton have been long-term admirers of Ziyech, and were linked with the Moroccan last summer, as reported by Calcio Mercato.

The move to Goodison Park didn’t work out at that stage, and Ziyech has gone on to increase his profile this term.

The attacking midfielder played a key role in Ajax’s run to the semi-finals of the Champions League, with Everton fans watching his performances closely.

And Toffees supporters have lavished praise on Ziyech’s display for Ajax last night, even though his side were eventually beaten.

Ziyech scored one of Ajax’s two goals on the night, but it was not to be enough as Tottenham Hotspur won 3-2 in Holland to turn the tie around.

Everton are thought to have funds to spend this summer, with Marco Silva looking to make additions.

Ziyech could be one of the bargain signings of the summer, as the Daily Mirror have suggested he has a £25 million release clause in his contract.
