Everton boss Marco Silva has made no secret of his desire to sign Kurt Zouma from Chelsea on a permanent deal.

Everton fans have been left disappointed after Chelsea’s appeal against their transfer ban was not successful, as reported Sky Sports.

Everton have been trying to sign Kurt Zouma from Chelsea, following his successful loan period at Goodison Park.

However, their task of bringing Zouma to Everton on a permanent basis has just got much more difficult.

With Chelsea unable to make transfers in the next two windows, it means that they are likely to be far more reluctant to let Zouma go.

And many Everton fans think that their hopes of bringing in the Frenchman are now over.

Whether Marco Silva and Marcel Brands will now move on from attempting to sign Zouma remains to be seen.

Not signing Zouma would be a big blow for Everton, as his partnership with Michael Keane has been rock solid in recent weeks.

Zouma could now play his last game for the Toffees at the weekend, when they take on Tottenham Hotspur.
