Sada Thioub has scored just three Ligue 1 goals this season but he is still a reported target for Championship outfit Nottingham Forest.
Nottingham Forest have renewed their interest in January target Sada Thioub, according to Le10 Sport.
L’Equipe claimed in the final day of the winter transfer window that Forest were attempting to bring the Nimes striker to the City Ground.
But the Ligue 1 outfit were unwilling to part with one of their key players midway through the season, forcing Martin O’Neill’s side to sign Leo Bonatini on loan from Wolves instead.
Le10 Sport believes that Thioub is still on Nottingham Forest’s radar heading into the summer, however, despite his less than prolific record over the last few months.
The Senegal international has scored just once in his last 33 Ligue 1 games although he has remained a regular starter for a Nimes side who are on track to seal a top half finish in their first season back in the French top flight.
And Le10 Sport claims that Forest have recently positioned themselves to make a fresh move for the 23-year-old, having shown a ‘serious’ interest in a player who could add depth to O’Neill’s rather weak forward line.
