Everton central midfielder Andre Gomes has taken to Twitter to revel in his side’s win against Burnley.
Ben Mee scored an own goal in the 17th minute to put the Clarets in the lead, and Seamus Coleman doubled the advantage on 20 minutes.
Gomes, signed on a season-long loan deal from Spanish and European giants Barcelona in the summer of 2018, did not feature in the match for Everton against Burnley due to suspension.
The 25-year-old Portugal international central midfielder has taken to Twitter to revel in the win for the Toffees, and some Everton fans have responded to his message by urging him to sign a permanent contract in the summer transfer window.
Gomes has made 24 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Everton this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
