Report outlines Tottenham Hotspur’s transfer plan this summer

Tottenham Hotspur did not sign any player in the summer of 2018 or in January 2019.

According to The Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino wants to sign five new players in the summer transfer window.

Tottenham did not make any additions to their squad in the summer of 2018 or in the January transfer window.

 

Pochettino, though, reportedly wants to bring in five new players, and it has also been claimed that Tottenham are likely to add a couple of younger players for their development squad.

Signings needed this summer

Tottenham do have a good squad, and it is unfortunate that the North London outfit have had so many injuries.

On paper, Spurs have a squad that should comfortable finish in the top four of the Premier League, and compete for the league title with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City.

However, the North London outfit need to account for injuries and suspensions, and they also need to keep the players they have on their toes.

Tottenham also need to refresh the squad, and Pochettino’s reported plan to sign five players in the summer transfer window does make sense.
