Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy has been spotted celebrating Liverpool’s defeat at the Nou Camp.

Liverpool lost 3-0 to Barcelona last night, with Lionel Messi putting in a quite magnificent display.

And Mendy was videoed appearing to celebrate Barca’s goals, as Liverpool were heavily beaten.

Liverpool and City have been clashing all season, as they both go for the Premier League title.

Both Jurgen Klopp’s and Pep Guardiola’s side’s have been relentlessly winning over recent weeks, to keep the pressure on each other.


At the moment Liverpool are one point behind City, with just two games remaining.

Liverpool’s next match comes against Newcastle United on Saturday, while City play Leicester City on Monday evening.

Mendy, who signed for £52 million (BBC Sport), has endured a difficult season so far, which has been disrupted by injury - but Guardiola is expected to keep faith in him next term.
