Tottenham Hotspur Ladies have secured promotion to the Women's Super League thanks to their 1-1 draw at Aston Villa on Wednesday, with Harry Kane taking to Twitter after the game to congratulate them for their achievement.
Spurs, who needed a point to go up from the FA Women's Championship, went ahead against the Villans thanks to a Jessica Naz strike into the top corner from Coral-Jade Haines' short free kick.
Amy West levelled within four minutes of the restart as Villa staged a fightback, but Tottenham held firm to secure the point they needed to go four points clear of third-placed Durham with just a game each to play.
As a result, Spurs will be promoted subject to meeting the FAWSL Licence criteria, with Manchester United having already gone up into the WSL as champions, sealing the Championship title on 20 April.

Tottenham Ladies will wrap up their Championship season with a trip to Durham on Saturday 11 May.
