Norwich City are reportedly planning to monitor Southampton midfielder Harrison Reed’s situation over the summer.

Norwich will monitor Southampton’s plans for Harrison Reed over the summer as they weigh up whether they want to try and bring the midfielder back to Carrow Road on loan next season, according to a report from The Sun on Sunday (28/4; page 59).
The Canaries can now start making plans for life in the Premier League after their promotion was confirmed with their win against Blackburn, the side that signed Reed last summer, on Saturday.
Daniel Farke’s men will be focusing on wrapping up the title heading into the final day of the Championship season. But they have one eye on potential targets ahead of their return to the top flight.
The Sun on Sunday (28/4; page 59) reports that Norwich are interested in signing Reed on loan this summer should the Saints make the 24-year-old available.

Reed has certainly left the Southampton hierarchy with a decision to make after a very impressive year at Ewood Park. He has scored three goals and contributed five assists in 33 league games for Tony Mowbray’s men. His versatility has made him a key man for Rovers.
And he would be returning to familiar surroundings if he ended up joining Norwich. He made 39 league appearances for the Canaries last season, and may relish the chance to help Farke’s men try and establish themselves back at England’s top table if Ralph Hasenhuttl is happy to let him leave.
