Celtic are interested in signing Silas Wamangituka from Paris FC in the summer transfer window, according to The Scottish Sun.

It has been reported that Celtic manager Neil Lennon watched Wamangituka in action for Paris FC against Valenciennes on Monday night.

The report has claimed that clubs in France, Fiorentina and Hamburg are also interested in the 19-year-old forward, who is rated at £4.5 million.

According to The Scottish Sun, Liverpool and Barcelona scouts have watched the striker in recent months, with Paris FC expected to cash in on the talented and promising teenager.

Good signing for Celtic?

Wamangituka is a very promising forward who would be a good long-term signing for Celtic.

However, with so many clubs, including Liverpool and Barcelona, reportedly looking at the youngster, it will not be easy for the Hoops to secure his services in the summer transfer window.

According to WhoScored, Wamangituka has made 21 starts and eight substitute appearances in Ligue 2 for Paris FC so far this season, scoring nine goals in the process.
