Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Dejan Lovren against Huddersfield Town.

Lovren featured for Liverpool in their Premier League game against Huddersfield at Anfield on Friday evening.

The 29-year-old central defender started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Jurgen Klopp’s side won 5-0.

The Croatia international did not exactly have a great game, but the defence was steady and did his job well.

 

Against Huddersfield on Friday evening, Lovren took one shot, had a pass accuracy of 90%, won four headers, and made two tackles, two interceptions and two clearances, according to WhoScored.

So far this season, the defender has made 10 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Reds, scoring one goal in the process, according to WhoScored.

The Merseyside outfit are at the top of the league table at the moment with 91 points from 36 matches.

Liverpool fans were not pleased with the performance produced by Lovren against Huddersfield at Anfield on Friday evening and have criticised him on Twitter.
