Gabriel Martinelli has reportedly agreed a deal to sign for Premier League giants Arsenal and he will move to The Emirates in June.

Arsenal are set to pay £6 million for Gabriel Martinelli as the Brazilian youngster closes in on becoming The Gunners’ first signing of the summer transfer window, according to Yahoo Brazil.
An exciting forward who has been likened to Everton forward Richarlison thanks to his speed and goal-scoring prowess, Martinelli has agreed a deal to move to the Premier League giants this summer.
He has even travelled to Europe in order to obtain an Italian passport that would help Arsenal avoid potential work permit issues. And it is understood that Martinelli will be unveiled at The Emirates once he turns 18 in June.
The teenager’s transfer fee has remained a mystery so far, however, but Yahoo Brazil has now claimed that he will cost £6 million. That is a lot of money for a 17-year-old but a potential bargain given how promising he has looked on first-team duty for FC Ituano this season.

Martinelli recently scored six goals as Ituano reached the quarter-finals of the Campeonato Paulista earlier this year, winning the Player of the Tournament award.
Yahoo Brazil adds that he will initially link up with Arsenal’s U23 side when he finally makes the switch to North London.
