Manchester City are desperate to tie Leroy Sane down to a new contract but are worried his head has been turned by a potential move to Bayern Munich, according to the Metro.

Sane, the reigning Premier League Young Player of the Year, has blossomed into one of European football’s most promising attackers since he moved to The Etihad from Schalke for £37 million three years ago (BBC).


But he has fallen down the pecking order recently, playing just seven minutes in both legs of the Champions League quarter-final against Tottenham while being left on the bench against both Arsenal and Chelsea.
