Mo Diame has been a key player for Rafa Benitez in the Premier League but his time at Newcastle United could be coming to an end.

Mo Diame has received ‘lucrative’ offers from rival English clubs as he faces a potentially decisive period in his Newcastle United career, according to the Chronicle.
The Senegal international has been a key player for Rafa Benitez since he arrived from Hull City for £3.5 million three years ago, playing an important role as The Magpies won the Championship title before re-establishing themselves in the Premier League.
Diame’s contract expires in just a few weeks, however, and Newcastle have so far been reluctant to hand him the two-year deal he craves.
Owner Mike Ashely is famously unwilling to offer deals to players past their peak and, at the age of 31, the former West Ham and Wigan enforcer is clearly entering the autumn years of his career.
However, Diame will not be short of offers if it transpires that he is just three games away from the end of his Newcastle career.

The Chronicle reports that he has received offers from Greece and Turkey while other English clubs have put an apparently lucrative deal on the table.
The Daily Star claimed recently that Crystal Palace and Brighton were interested in a player who still has a lot to offer.
