Newcastle United midfielder Isaac Hayden may reportedly leave the club at the end of the season.

According to a report from the Chronicle, Newcastle plan to demand a fee in excess of £15 million for Isaac Hayden before they allow the midfielder to leave St James’ Park in the summer.
Hayden has been linked with leaving the Magpies for a while now as he looks to move closer to his family. The Chronicle reports that the former Arsenal trainee may be on his way out at the end of the season.
But if another side wants to land Hayden, they will need to offer over £15 million to get a deal done, according to the Chronicle. It is little surprise that Newcastle are set to command a decent fee for the 24-year-old.
Before the campaign began, Newcastle wanting over £15 million would have seemed ambitious. Hayden had been a good squad player during his time on Tyneside, but he was rarely the standout performer for the Magpies.

However, this season, the Englishman has stepped his game up significantly. He has been outstanding since the turn of the year, and has formed an excellent partnership with Ki Sung-yueng, having previously been superb alongside Sean Longstaff.
His recent form must make it all the more disappointing for Newcastle that he looks set to want to leave again this summer. Keeping him would be a real boost, but he has arguably played well enough over the last six months to leave with the fans’ blessing if that is still what he wants.
