An ex-Rockstar Games employee’s resume likely confirms that Grand Theft Auto 6 has been in development since 2017 (probably even longer).
Job listings earlier in the year suggested that Rockstar was making Grand Theft Auto 6 and Bully 2 for the next-generation of consoles, so it being in development isn’t surprising (especially when looking at how much money the Grand Theft Auto series has made, let alone GTA 5 on its own).
Although Grand Theft Auto 6 is unsurprisingly in development, you still shouldn’t expect to see any of it for a while.

Ex-Rockstar developer’s resume confirms GTA 6 is in development
Thanks to DSO Gaming, we now have seemingly legitimate proof that Grand Theft Auto 6 is being made. No, this isn’t ground-breaking news, but the apparent confirmation will still be nice for some.
Bibin Michael, an experienced 3D Game Artist, stated on his resume that he worked on Grand Theft Auto 6 between December 2017 and April 2018. According to his resume, he was creating “concept vehicles matching with real world for Gta 5 dlc and upcoming Gta 6”.
Michael was also credited in Red Dead Redemption 2, so this seems to be a legit leak. DSO Gaming took a screenshot of Michael’s resume, and you can see his name in the credits for Red Dead Redemption 2 below.
A “European developer” working on a PS5 launch title recently posted that Grand Theft Auto 6 will launch in 2020 as timed-exclusive for Sony’s next-gen console, but this rumour is highly unlikely as it comes across as a ten-year-old’s wishlist.
