Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has dropped his clearest hint yet about his transfer plans at White Hart Lane in the Daily Mail.

Pochettino has always kept his cards close to his chest when talking about Spurs’ transfers.

But he has now suggested that Tottenham need to make signings and raise their budget.

He said: “There is a lot of work to be on the level we want in the future. If your expectation is to win the league, maybe you need to sign players or have a different budget.”

The words are a clear message to Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy, as the transfer window draws closer.
