Glasgow Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has overseen big changes since arriving at Ibrox in the summer.
Steven Gerrard has overseen a huge number of changes since arriving at Rangers last summer. And for the large part, those changes have helped put the Gers on the right path as they look to get themselves back to the top of Scottish football.
The Light Blues look set to finish the season some way behind Celtic. But the warning signs have been there, and with some uncertainty at Parkhead right now, this upcoming summer could be looked back upon as a pivotal one if Rangers get things right.
Judging by recent reports, it appears that the Gers have got big plans for the summer with a number of players already linked. With that in mind, here is a look at an XI made up of players that have signed since Gerrard arrived coupled with those currently linked with a switch to Rangers.
Of course, there are some notable omissions. The Evening Times has reported that Rangers are on the verge of agreeing a deal for Greg Stewart, so, despite some of the fans being less than impressed with the rumours, he takes Scott Arfield's place in this lineup. It would be a surprise however, if that was a sign of what is to come if Arfield continues playing like he did last time out.
Stewart is actually part of a new-look front four in this side. Jordan Jones has already agreed a pre-contract deal, while the Evening Times reports that Jake Hastie is back on the club's radar after talks previously broke down.
And TEAMtalk recently reported that versatile attacker Nick Powell remains on their wishlist. In this side, he is picked up front, but Jermain Defoe, of course, is likely to be the player he would work alongside rather than replace if he did join.
The final reported summer target included is John Souttar, with the Evening Times also suggesting that the Hearts centre-back is wanted. He joins Connor Goldson, Jon Flanagan and Borna Barisic in the back four.
With that in mind, here is a look at a team made up of Gerrard signings as well as a cluster of reported summer targets...
