Silva brought Richarlison to Goodison Park in the summer, after working with the Brazilian at Watford previously.
Everton paid big money for the 21-year-old when he arrived, with eye-brows raised over the price.
However, Richarlison has already proven that Silva’s faith was well placed, through his performances this season.
Richarlison has netted 12 goals for Everton this term, and he has immediately become one of the Toffees’ most dangerous attacking talents.
Silva still feels that there is more to come from Richarlison, but he is enjoying helping the youngster attempt to fill his potential.
Silva said: “He had a big impact in his first moments in the Premier League – but the second half of last season was difficult for him. He did not score in the last five months.
“This season he has had a strong impact in our club and I am really enjoying working with him and trying to help him improve.
“I was 100 per cent sure [Richarlison would be successful at Everton] because he is a player who can fit really well in our club.”
Everton are still fighting to take seventh spot this season, although their hopes were dented after defeat at Fulham last weekend.
The Toffees are next in action on Sunday, when they take on Manchester United.
