Resident Evil 3: Nemesis is Capcom’s next project after the Resident Evil 2 Remake judging by one of the company’s tweets.

Capcom’s Resident Evil 2 is still one of the year’s best games so far, and fans will be happy to hear that the studio is hinting at a Nemesis Remake.

The company has previously said that fans must demand a Nemesis Remake if they want it to happen, but there were rumours before that suggested the clamoured for title was already in development.

With how well Resident Evil 2 performed both critically and financially, a Nemesis Remake is a no-brainer.

It’s already said to be planned for launch before Resident Evil 8 and now Capcom is teasing its existence.

Capcom’s Nemesis reference teases a Resident Evil 3 Remake

There’s no definitive proof that Capcom is developing a Remake of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, but a tweet from the company’s official Twitter account certainly suggests a return to Raccoon City is imminent.

The tweet is a screenshot of an obliterated wall in Resident Evil 2 with the caption, “What do YOU think happened to the wall here?”

Seeing as Resident Evil 3’s Nemesis was a messy brute who gleefully smashed through windows and walls, you can understand why fans believe hole plus sly tweet equals RE3 Remake.
