Tottenham's under-23 side recorded a win with Troy Parrott starring.
Tottenham Hotspur youngster Troy Parrott sent a message to Mauricio Pochettino last night.
His brace for the under-23s gave Tottenham a win away to Swansea City, continuing his outstanding first season at the club.
The Republic of Ireland under-19 international's first goal came from a free-kick in the first half.
Swansea pulled a goal back, before Parrott finished clinically when given a clear cut chance from open play.
Parrott has risen to every opportunity handed to him by Spurs this season and with Harry Kane out injured, fans are calling for him to be given a first team opportunity.
A chance in the Champions League this week is unlikely, but it's conceivable he could make the bench against Brighton in the Premier League.
The free-kick goal showed another string to Parrott's bow, even earning favourable comparisons with Christian Eriksen's efforts.
