Liverpool host Nuno Espirito Santo's side at Anfield on the final day of the Premier League season.
It's a clash which could potentially determine the location of the title, with the Reds currently two points ahead of Manchester City, who have a game in hand.
Neves has enjoyed an excellent first season in the Premier League with Wolves.
And Collymore believes that the 22-year-old - valued at £100 million by Wanderers [The Times] - could use such a big game to try and 'put himself in the shop window' ahead of the summer.
He wrote in The Mirror: "Then it will be Wolves at home and Nuno Espirito Santo’s boys would love to be the team who stopped Liverpool winning the title.
"I also wonder if players such as Ruben Neves might see the game as a real chance to put himself in the shop window."
Ironically, Liverpool are one of the English clubs that the Portuguese midfielder has been linked to, with Jurgen Klopp's assistant Pepijn Lijnders admitting to The Daily Mail last week that the Anfield side might be interested.
But Klopp and virtually every affiliate of the Merseyside club will be hoping that he has a quiet day, if the title comes down to the wire.
