Daniel Arzani is regarded as the unluckiest Celtic signing in recent seasons.

The Australian wonderkid suffered an ACL injury just weeks into his spell at the club during an under-23 appearance.

The Daily Record report he is on track to return to Celtic for pre-season.

He signed on a two-year loan deal from Manchester City.

He has recently been spotted at Celtic's training ground last month and is currently back at Manchester City to continue his rehab.

Arzani was the youngest player at the World Cup last summer in Russia.

He stands a better chance of playing regularly for Celtic than Manchester City so continuing his loan deal is the right move.

Celtic should not rush the teenager, but having him available next season will be welcome boost, and dare we say it, 'just like a new signing'.
