Everton have been crowned Premier League 2 champions for the second time in three years.

The Toffees' under-23 side beat Brighton and Hove Albion 1-0 to seal the title.

It is a remarkable achievement for David Unsworth's side and the coach has added to his glowing reputation in the process.

Josh Bowler scored the winning goal in the first half, which was fitting, considering his recent run of good form.

The former QPR talent has been a key member of the under-23 side.
