Anwar El Ghazi has posted a Twitter message of himself enjoying a break in his native country of Holland as he has seemingly hinted that he is being rested for Aston Villa's clash against Bolton on Friday.

The fixture list is going to pile up in the coming weeks, with Villa travelling to relegation-threatened Bolton on Friday before hosting Millwall three days later. They will then take on automatic-chasers Leeds United at the end of that week.

Winger El Ghazi, who has been in a rich vein of form for his club in recent weeks, posted this message on his personal Twitter account on Tuesday.

It won't be a surprise to see El Ghazi being rested by Dean Smith because he will now have to manage his squad as Villa aim to secure a top-six finish.

Added with that, if they are successful in finishing in the play-off places they will then potentially have another three games to play as they bid to secure Premier League status.

Over the weekend, El Ghazi started Villa's 2-1 win over promotion rivals Bristol City and the Lille loanee produced a Man of the Match display for his side.

He assisted Conor Hourihane for what proved to be the decisive goal of the game, but truthfully, he should have had more assists to his name with opposition goalkeeper Max O'Leary producing a number of point-blank saves.

The likes of Hourihane and Albert Adomah missed a number of guilt-edge opportunities, but nonetheless, El Ghazi is now beginning to produce the goods on a regular basis for his promotion-chasing side.
