Tottenham Hotspur are unbeatable when they’re on, according to the Kenyan.

Tottenham ace Victor Wanyama spoke to reporters over the weekend, and suggested that if he and his teammates work well as a team, and give everything, they are unbeatable, as quoted by the Independent.

Spurs currently sit in third spot in the Premier League table, and hold a one goal advantage in their Champions League quarter-final tie with Manchester City at the halfway stage, so they still have everything to play for this season.

The north London outfit can clearly mix it with the very best on their day.

They have beaten Borussia Dortmund twice, Manchester City once and drawn away at Barcelona in the Champions League this season.

Whether Tottenham can go all the way, however, remains to be seen.

Wanyama spoke to reporters and insisted that Spurs are unbeatable when they are focused on the task at hand, as quoted by the Independent:

“We have a good team spirit and togetherness. We work well as a team and if we’re focused and we give everything then I don’t think anyone can beat us.”

Wanyama’s comments are obviously slightly exaggerated.

Spurs still have a long way to go before they can be classed as a truly elite side, although they are undoubtedly on the right path.

Tottenham travel to City on Wednesday night knowing that they will have to be on their very best form, if they are to stop Pep Guardiola’s side.

And the one thing that Pochettino’s men know, is that they are more than capable of doing just that.
