UK viewers could have a long wait for the first ever live-action Star Wars TV show
Excitement for the first ever live-action Star Wars TV show ramped up several notches this weekend as we got our first few glimpses of Jon Favreau's The Mandalorian at Star Wars Celebration in Chicago this weekend.
As well as the panel itself, some new footage was shown only to those at Celebration, but naturally, some of that footage and teaser material has ended up on YouTube and it looks absolutely brilliant from what we've seen so far.
However, the biggest question surrounding the Mandalorian is when will viewers in the UK and the rest of the world be able to watch the new TV show?
The issue that raises is how on Earth will UK viewers be able to watch The Mandalorian (legally) when it comes out on Disney+ later this year.
Despite the hour-long panel and various other marketing materials that have been teased, no news has surfaced about how UK viewers will be able to watch this highly anticipated Star Wars TV show.
Our best guess is that The Mandalorian will make an appearance on the UK's current Disney streaming service, DisneyLife.
However, if what Disney says is true, and The Mandalorian is going to be totally exclusive to Disney+, then fans in the UK and elsewhere could be faced with a long wait for their chance to watch this exciting new series.
