According to The Mirror, Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser wants to play for a club in the top six of Premier League, and while that is good news for Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal, it pretty much rules out Newcastle United.
The Chronicle has reported that Newcastle have looked at the possibility of signing Fraser from Bournemouth this summer.
With The Mirror reporting that the 25-year-old is ambitious and wants to play for a top-six club in the future, it is not good news for Newcastle.
After all, Rafael Benitez’s side have only just secured their top-flight status for the 2019-20 campaign.
Both Tottenham and Arsenal regularly feature in the top six of the Premier League.
While Spurs challenging for the league title on a regular basis and also playing in the Champions League season after season, they will be more attractive to Fraser than Arsenal, who may not end up in the top four this campaign.
