Celtic midfielder Ryan Christie was carried off against Aberdeen with a worrying injury.

The Mail reported he had a suspected broken eye socket.

 

He has sent a message to supporters displaying his injury.

Christie was even in good spirits to crack a joke, about not knowing the result until he was told.

Celtic beat Aberdeen 3-0 to set up a Scottish Cup final against Hearts.

Christie is at risk of not playing again this season.

Celtic have enough options to cope without him and don't need to risk his long term health.

His contribution this season has been enough to show he has a big future at Celtic regardless.
