The long-serving Everton stalwart is out of contract this summer.
Everton fans on Twitter are urging their club not to give Phil Jagielka a new contract.
The veteran centre-back, who turns 37 in August, has reminded Everton of his importance in recent weeks.
Jagielka scored the winner in the Toffees' 1-0 victory over Arsenal last Sunday but, with his contract expiring in June, his future at Goodison Park is the subject of debate.
The former England international said at the weekend that he is yet to hear anything about getting a new deal on Merseyside [The Echo].
But some Everton fans on Twitter don't want him to stay beyond this season.

After getting bullied by Mitrovic I think it’s time he called it a day. Superb servant to the club, get him on the coaching staff— Phil Moorcroft (@1ceTheKing) April 14, 2019

Phil Jagielka, Captain. Leighton Baines, Vice-Captain, Séamus Coleman “Third” Captain. I really wouldn’t be bothered if all three left the club this summer... #EFC— TheToffeeMen (@TheToffeeMenEFC) April 14, 2019
Reckon he could work that out for himself following the weekend performance— andyjsb (@andyjsb) April 15, 2019
Jagielka again JESUS - please no new contract— David Byrne (@DByrne11) April 13, 2019
He might've stolen the show against Arsenal, but Jagielka wasn't as impressive in Saturday's 2-0 defeat by relegated Fulham at Craven Cottage.
It is on days like that which might convince the Toffees' hierarchy that he isn't worth keeping around for next season, but time will tell what they decide.
Jagielka, who joined Everton in 2007, has only managed five Premier League games this season.
