Report: Burnley put Joe Hart up for sale

Joe Hart of Burnley warms up prior to the Premier League match between Newcastle United and Burnley FC at St. James Park on February 26, 2019 in Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom.

The goalkeeper has struggled for game-time at Burnley recently.

Joe Hart of Mancheater City shouts instructions during the Carabao Cup quarter final match between Arsenal and West Ham United at Emirates Stadium on December 19, 2017 in London, England.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Burnley want to sell Joe Hart this summer, with Sean Dyche thought to be keen on freshening up his goalkeeping department.

The 31-year-old joined the Clarets for £3.5 million in the summer of 2018, but he has failed to establish himself at Turf Moor, making just 19 Premier League appearances for Dyche's side.

It has been quite the fall from grace for Hart over the past few years, after Pep Guardiola loaned him out to Torino when he took over at Manchester City in the summer of 2016.

The former England international has never recovered from that blow to his confidence, and he seems to be a shadow of the player he once was.

Goalkeeper Joe Hart makes a save during the England training session at the Chemin De Ronde Stadium on June 12, 2017 in Croissy-sur-Seine, France.

And the Daily Mail claims that Burnley now want to sell Hart, although it is unclear as to how much they will demand for the stopper.

The former City ace has just over 12 months remaining on his current contract with Lancashire outfit, so he will likely be available for a cut-price deal this summer.
