Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal have been credited with an interest in signing the Ajax ace.

Nicolas Tagliafico’s agent Ricardo Schlieper spoke to reporters about his client’s future, and admitted that the Ajax ace is looking to leave the club in the summer amidst links with Tottenham and Arsenal, as quoted by Gianluca Di Marzio.

According to a report from The Sun (25 March, page 51), the north London rivals are keen to bring the 26-year-old to the Premier League with Ajax demanding somewhere around £15 million for his signature.

The 26-year-old left-back has been in excellent form for Ajax this season, chalking up five goals and six assists in 38 appearances in all competitions thus far, and he would be an excellent addition for either Spurs or the Gunners.

The reported Tottenham and Arsenal target’s agent Ricardo Schlieper spoke to reporters, and suggested that his client could very well be on his way out of Ajax this summer, as quoted by Gianluca Di Marzio:

“He believes that the time has come to try a new experience in a different league. He wants to keep improving and I already turned down a significant contract extension. There are several teams that made enquiries for him, especially teams that will play in next season’s Champions League, but it’s too soon to say where he will play next season. Ajax want a significant amount of money for him, and that will definitely scare some clubs off.”

Quite where Tagliafico will be plying his trade next season remains to be seen, but if he is available for the reported fee of just £15 million, neither Tottenham nor Arsenal should hesitate to bring him to the Premier League.
