Premier League outfit Spurs could have signed Napoli striker Arak Milik for just £100,000 – now he’s shining in Serie A and the Europa League.

Arkadiusz Milik will travel to North London tonight with Napoli set to face off against Arsenal in a thrilling Europa League fixture at The Emirates.
But, if Tottenham Hotspur had been willing to pay just £100,000, Milik could have been plying his trade in the English capital for a number of years.
The Mirror revealed back in 2015 that when Milik was 19, he underwent a trial at Spurs during Harry Redknapp’s spell at the club. Tottenham turned the Polish hotshot down, however, deciding against signing him for £100,000 because they felt they had bigger talents on their books.
Every club makes mistakes of course but this looks a particularly expensive one almost a decade on. Milik is firmly established as one of the most in-form strikers in Europe as he makes his return to North London, putting injury problems behind him to enjoy the best season of his career at Napoli.

In all competitions this season, the former Ajax frontman has 19 goals under Carlo Ancelotti and he is arguably their best hope of getting a positive result in their Europa League quarter-final first leg at Arsenal.
Napoli paid £30 million to sign Milik three years ago, according to The Mail, and his price-tag will have increased even further since. Suddenly, £100,000 doesn’t seem too costly.
