Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane faces scans later today to assess the severity of his injury.

According to the Telegraph, Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane believes that his season is over.
Kane damaged his ankle during Tottenham’s game against Manchester City in midweek, and had to hobble off down the tunnel.
The England international forward has already missed a sizeable chunk of the campaign after hurting the same ankle earlier in the season.
And Kane is now apparently devastated, as he does not expect to play for Tottenham again this season.

Kane faces scans later today to assess the severity of the problem, and there has been one piece of good news in the sense that the swelling has reduced quickly.
Kane’s hope is that he could be back in time to play in a potential Champions League final for Tottenham and for England in the Nation’s League, but that is a rather ambitious target.
In Kane’s absence, Tottenham won 1-0 against City on Tuesday to put them in a good position to qualify in the Champions League.
