Arsenal beat Napoli in the first leg of a Europa League quarter-final this evening.
But it was a bittersweet victory for a lot of Arsenal fans.
Aaron Ramsey has been a revelation for the Gunners in recent weeks and reminded the Emirates faithful of his influence by opening the scoring tonight.
But the Welshman is in the twilight of his career in North London after agreeing to join Juventus on a Bosman at the end of this season.
Ramsey is 28 and in the prime of his career, and suffice to say that a lot of Arsenal fans are fuming with their club for losing such a talent for free.
Here's how they reacted to his goal:
Arsenal letting Aaron Ramsey go on a free is absolutely shocking— Lorenzo (@lorenzodube) April 11, 2019
Reckon I’ll shell a few tears once Ramsey checks out of arsenal criminal how we’ve let him leave, let alone on a free— CRÄWF (@JordonCrawford8) April 11, 2019

Going to be so sick next year without Ramsey in the team #Arsenal— Joe Healy (@JoeHealy707) April 11, 2019
Absolutely criminal that @Arsenal let Ramsey's contract expire..— Rich Uttley (@richuttley) April 11, 2019
It does seem to be a major gaffe by the Londoners, though it remains to be seen who exactly is culpable.
Ramsey still had a year left on his contract at the time of Arsene Wenger's departure 13 months ago, though his replacement Unai Emery has been saying as long ago as September that the former Cardiff gem, who joined Arsenal in 2008, would not be offered a new deal.
According to The Times, Ramsey will earn around £300,000 in Turin.
