Wolverhampton Wanderers reportedly want to bring Morgan Sanson to the Premier League – he’s a huge favourite at Ligue 1 giants Marseille.

Just a week or so after completing a £30 million deal to sign Raul Jimenez on a permanent basis from Benfica, reports from France are claiming that Wolverhampton Wanderers have launched another club-record bid.
Le10 Sport states that the Premier League high-flyers have offered £36.5 million to sign Marseille playmaker Morgan Sanson, a staggering bid which truly highlights the financial firepower at Wolves’ disposal.
A gifted and all-round midfielder who combines tenacity and technique, Sanson has scored just four goals and provided another four assists this season but he cannot be judged on statistics alone. The 24-year-old so often delivers the ‘assist-to-the-assist’ with his reliable distribution and impressive vision making him one of the first names on Rudi Garcia’s team sheet.

No wonder, then, that the Marseille fans are a little worried.
Reacting on Twitter, L’OM’s famously passionate support have made it clear that Sanson is worth far more than £36.5 million in today’s market with some even comparing him to Toni Kroos, Xavi and Andres Iniesta.
It remains to be seen, however, if Marseille will sell with Wolves seemingly ready to spend big after another season of success.
