Although there’s a couple of things Ninja Theory’s DmC did better, Capcom’s Devil May Cry 5 has received a lot of praise from fans and critics. So, with that being said, the gaming community will be thrilled to hear that its director is apparently working on a “new project”.
Devil May Cry 5 launched on March 8, and it captured everyone’s hearts with its charming characterisations of Dante, Nero, and newcomer V.
Fans are naturally awaiting DLC that possibly stars Lady, Trish, and Nico, as well as potentially an iconic character whose “surprise return” won’t be spoiled.
However, while story DLC is still plausible, Devil May Cry 5’s director has suggested that he’s working on a “new project”.

Devil May Cry 5’s director seems to be working on a “new project”
Devil May Cry 5’s director, Hideaki Itsuno, recently posted a tweet that suggests he’s working on a “new project”.
Itsuno posted pictures of a “joint cherry-blossom viewing of the DMC 5 team and the new project team”.
There are no hints as to what this “new project” is, but Itsuno has said before that he wants to make an "awesome" sequel to Dragon’s Dogma.
