According to Galicia Press, Celta Vigo midfielder Nemanja Radoja has agreed to join Real Betis on a free transfer at the end of the season.
Radoja, 26, has been a key player for Celta since arriving from Vojvodina in 2014, racking up nearly 150 appearances in his first four seasons at the club.
His impressive displays also earned him two caps for Serbia, but he has essentially lost this entire season having been completely frozen out at Celta.
Having refused to pen a new deal, Radoja has been left to rot until his contract expires this summer, with absolutely no first-team appearances to his name this season.
Now, Galicia Press report that the saga is coming to an end, as Radoja has agreed a pre-contract agreement with Real Betis, meaning he will sign for free this summer.
The move comes after Radoja had a January exit blocked, with El Desmarque reporting that a move to Aston Villa was agreed, but he failed to gain a work permit to play in England.
Villa need a holding midfielder this summer given question marks over Mile Jedinak and Glenn Whelan, but their plans to sign Radoja were hit in January, and are now seemingly over for the foreseeable future as he prepares to trade Galicia for Andalusia.
