Therefore, the midfield maestro is set to miss Wednesday night’s home game with Reading, the trip to Wigan Athletic on Sunday and the visit of Sheffield Wednesday to Carrow Road on Good Friday.
Farke has named the same starting XI for the last eight matches but will have to make a change to his team, and speaking to the official Norwich website, he admits filling the Buendia-shaped hole will prove tricky.
“Hopefully we find a solution as we have done earlier in the season when players were labelled as irreplaceable, but we have managed to find a solution for them," said the Canaries coach.
"Since the ban was confirmed, it's been a difficult decision. I could replace one for one or change the balance of the team and moving other players around. The gut feeling will decide it in the end."
Moritz Leitner, Mario Vrancic or Todd Cantwell could be in line to replace Buendia in the Norwich starting line-up.
