Hazard is the talk of Twitter today. And not just because Chelsea’s number ten produced one of the most sensational performances of the Premier League campaign on Monday night, scoring twice in a staggering individual performance against West Ham.

His little brother is also in the news, thanks largely to reports linking him with a big-money move to Liverpool in the summer.

According to DH, Liverpool have made an offer to bring Thorgan Hazard to Anfield after an impressive season in the Bundesliga with Borussia Monchengladbach.

Dortmund are keen too with Het Nieuwsblad claiming that they will use their Christian Pulisic money to pay £36 million. But Jurgen Klopp has apparently outbid his former side for the 26-year-old Belgian international.

But surely there are other areas Liverpool need to invest in first before spending a hefty sum on a winger with 11 goals and 12 assists this season. Hazard Jr is undoubtedly a gifted player but he is arguably more Xherdan Shaqiri than Mo Salah, a player destined for the Anfield bench and a back-up role.

At least, that is the view of many supporters.
